National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur (HP) has advertised a contractual vacancy for the post of Research Associate. NIT Hamirpur has published a detailed recruitment notice in this regard at the official website i.e. nith.ac.in. Engineering graduate and postgraduate degree holders can apply for the recruitment. There is a single vacancy available for the post of Research Associate in a Young Faculty Research Fellowship (YFRF) of the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics & IT. The scheme is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). Selected candidates will be appointed for a fixed period of 10 months or till the completion of the scheme, whichever is earlier. During this tenure, they will be entitled to receive a monthly consolidated salary of Rs 28000.
The Institute has specified the minimum educational qualifications one must hold in order to apply for recruitment to the post of Research Associate. As per the official notification, candidates must have a First Class B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics Engineering with not less than 60% aggregate marks in order to apply. In addition, such candidates must also have a First Class M.E./M.Tech degree with specialization of VLSI Design/Microelectronics/VLSI & Embedded Systems or other relevant field in order to apply. Candidates must also have obtained their M.E./M.Tech degree through GATE.
Candidates within the maximum age of 30 years can apply for this recruitment. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by up to 5 years for SC/ST, PwD and Female applicants and by 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates. Selection of candidates will be done by the institute at their own discretion. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website as per schedule.
