The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the admit cards for the Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) entrance examination 2022. Candidates who will be appearing for the examination can now download the admit cards from the official website – nbe.edu.in. The examination is all set to be conducted on May 02, 2022. However, it is now being reported that admit cards for some candidates have been put on hold.
NBEMS has sent individual emails to the candidates for whom the admit cards have not been issued. As understood from these emails, due to the defects in the uploaded documents such as passport-size photo, thumb impression, etc. of the candidates, the admit cards could not be issued to them. These documents have failed to meet the requirements as mentioned in the information bulletin. The candidates will now have to submit the documents as per the instructions by April 26, 2022.
Final Opportunity
The emails also mention that despite the edit window being given to the candidates from April 11 to 13, 2022; the candidates have failed to submit the documents in the correct format. As such, the new deadline which is April 26, 2022 will be the final opportunity to submit the documents as per the instructions. In case the image is not submitted as per the appropriate guidelines, then the candidature of the applicant will not be considered and they will not be issued any admit cards. The responses are required to be submitted as a return email at neetmds@natboard.edu.in.
Correct Guidelines
Two photographs were required to be uploaded. The first one is a real-time photograph which was needed to be uploaded during the online application process and the other one is a pre-saved recent photograph. However, the pre-saved photograph must have a size within 80 KB. The height of the photograph must be 35mm x 45mm.
Similarly, the signature should be between 1.5 cm (H) x 3.5 cm (W). Also, the size should be between 20 KB to 100 KB. The thumb impression should be within 3.5 cm (W) x 1.5 cm (H). It must be noted that the impression should be taken using a fresh blue/black ink pad. It must be in a JPG/JPEG format within a file size less than 80 KB. For detailed information in this regard, candidates can go through the information bulletin. Note that a checklist has also been given at the end of the instructions and the same must be followed.
