The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted the class 10 Painting examination today, i.e. April 26, 2022. The exam was held for a duration of 01 hour from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Students were given a reading time of 15 minutes before the commencement of the test. However, soon after the conclusion of the exam, students seem to be in search of the answer keys to the exam. The official answer keys, however, have not been released yet.
A duration of 60 minutes was given to the students to solve the question paper. The total marks of the question paper are 15. The questions were based on the marking scheme ranging from 2 to 4 marks. All questions are compulsory to answer. Some of the questions were based on internal choice.

The answer keys are usually released by educators and coaching centres on their respective channels. Educators such as Study Stuff, Ajaya Physics, Hasan Art Studio, Tackle Study, Avnish Sir, etc. are expected to come up with the answer keys in due time. CBSE Term 2 Painting – Question Paper Breakdown
The questions for the CBSE Painting exam were based on Units 3 and 4 of the syllabus. While Unit 3 covered 07 marks, Unit 4 covered 8 marks on the question paper. The questions were based on the topics given below.
Unit 3 – Appreciation of Indian Art covering selected paintings, sculptures and architectural glimpses. From paintings, there is Bodhisattava Padmapani (Ajanta). Similarly, from Sculpture, there is Ashokan Lion capital of the Mauryan period while from Architecture, there is Kailashnatha Temple of Ellora, Maharashtra.
Unit 4 – This unit covered questions from Indian Folk Art – paintings from Madhubani and Warli.
A total of 35 lakh students are set to appear for the CBSE term 2 exams this year. The exams, which began today, will end on May 24, 2022. Arrangemenst were also made to conduct the exam in 26 countries abroad.
