Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has release NEET 2018 Admit Card today, on April 17, 2018, at cbseneet.nic.in. Candidates can now login to download admit card to know roll number and exam hall venue. It is also compulsory to be taken to the exam hall on day of exam. Candidates can download admit card here.
CBSE had not specified any date for admit card release and its speculated dates were around April 14. For some reason, the hall ticket release got delayed which concerned some students. Now finally the admit card for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) for candidates aspiring admission to medical/ dental colleges for MBBS/BDS courses in India been released on April 17, 2018.
The exam is on May 6, 2018. Now exactly nineteen days are left to go for the exam. NEET is a test of knowledge in physics, chemistry, biology – not just theoretical but also how well one can apply that knowledge.
Candidates can download the admit card for NEET 2018 by going to the official website cbseneet.nic.in. On the page click on “Admit Card NEET 2018“, wherein candidates are required to fill all the details like registration number, date of birth, security pin. The admit card will contain candidates name, roll number, fathers name, category, sub category, photograph, signature, date of birth, language of question paper and address of examination center allotted.
The candidates should not carry any item other than the admit card with passport size photograph, and a passport size photograph which is to be attested on the attendance sheet on the day of exam for NEET 2018. Also, read the instructions on the admit card before going for the examination as since last year certain rules were made related to dress code.
To their name on the merit list, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50th percentile marks for General Category, 40th percentile marks for OBC / SC / ST.
NEET 2018 will consist of objective questions in which four choices will be provided for each question with one correct answer. The exam will consist questions from three subjects namely physics, chemistry, and biology (botany and zoology). The total duration of the examination will be three hours. The exam will be held in 11 languages Hindi, English, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
NEET (earlier AIPMT) is the medical entrance examination held across the nation by Central Board of Secondary Education every year. Students through NEET are eligible for admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in India in Medical/ Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India.
