National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced exam date for NCHMCT JEE 2021. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm through a computer-based format. Online registration for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) 2021 has also started on February 3, 2021. Interested candidates can apply for the examination on the official website i.e., nchmjee.nta.nic.in. The last date to register for the exam is May 10, 2021, up to 5:00 pm.
Candidates can pay the application fee till May 10, 2021 up to 11:50 pm. Eligible candidates willing to appear for the exam have to register on the official website using their own email ID and mobile no. and note down their computer-generated application Number. After this, they must fill the application form and again, note down the system-generated application number. They are also expected to upload required documents such as recent, photograph and signature. These documents must be uploaded according to the dimensions and format prescribed by NTA.
The last step of the application process includes paying the examination fee. This fee is decided based on the candidate’s category. General/Unreserved category candidates or OBC-NCL candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 as application fee. Gen-EWS candidates are required to pay Rs. 700 where as SC/ST/PwD and transgender candidates have to pay Rs. 450 as application fee. NTA has provided various modes to pay the application fee. These modes include Canara bank, PayTm Payment gateaway through Credit Card, Debit card, Net Banking, UPI or wallet services.
All four steps of the application process can be done together or at separate timings. After paying the application fee, candidates have to take a print-out of the fee receipt and the confirmation page for future reference. Candidates must note that the conformation page is generated only after successful payment by the candidate. NCHM JEE 2021 is scheduled in the month of June, 2021. Authorities shall release the admit cards well before the exam. However, official date for the same is yet to be announced.
NCHMCT JEE 2021 is the national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration admissions in central, state, as well as private IHMs in India. NTA will hold the exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be of 180 minutes and will comprise Multiple Choice Questions. There will be a total of 200 questions. There will be 30 questions each in each sections of Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction and General Knowledge & Current Affairs. On the other hand, 20 questions each will be asked from English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector.
