NBE has announced the NBE FET 2022 exam date, and as per the exam calendar released, the examination is going to held on July 09, 2022. Earlier, today the board has released its official calendar for the year 2022 regarding all the PG and Diploma exams. Candidates who are aspiring to appear for any of these courses can check out the official calendar of NBEMS.
As of now, only the tentative exam date is announced, the complete schedule along with NBE FET 2022 information brochure, application form will be announced soon on the official website.
FET (Fellowship Entrance Test) is an annual entrance test conducted by NBE to provide admission to successful students in the 2-year duration post-doctoral exam. The examination is conducted once a year and candidates who abide by the basic eligibility are allowed to appear in the entrance test. At present, the board is offering admission only in 10 specialities.
As per the basic eligibility, candidates must have completed their Graduate Medical Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate. Along with this, they also should be having a permanent registration certificate of MBBS qualification. While those who are already pursuing DM / Mch or DNB / FNB courses from any medical college are not allowed to appear for this exam.
The NBE FET 2022 exam is going to be tentatively held only in four major cities i.e. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. The examination will be conducted in the online mode and the exam shall be held for two sections i.e. A and B for 105 marks. For completing part A, candidates will get 60 minutes while for part B they will get 45 minutes only. The examination is going to have 100 questions. For each correct answer, they shall get 4 marks while there will be a deduction of 1 mark for the wrong answer.
Those who pass the Fellowship Entrance Test with a minimum percentile of 50 will be eligible to participate in the Fellowship Admission Counselling Round. A centralized merit-based admission process will be conducted by the National Examination Board following the announcement of the results of the NBE Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) in 2021.
