Mizoram Board of School Education (MBES) has released the name of the candidates who are eligible to appear for the MTET 2021 exam. The notice released by the board also notified that the MTET 2021 is scheduled to be held on November 30, 2021, in two shifts. Paper 1 of MTET is going to be held from 09:30 am to 12:00 pm and paper 2 shall begin from 01:30 pm to 04:00 pm.
Candidates who find their name in the roll number wise list for MTET 2021 can collect their admit card for the exam from the respective exam center. The board has released the MTET exam center list for each district on the official website, mbse.edu.in. The reporting time, test center assigned and other instructions relevant to the Teacher Eligibility Test, Mizoram can be checked on the admit card itself.
The board has published the name of those candidates who surpassed the basic eligibility parameters set up by the board itself. Candidates who wish to know if they are selected or rejected have to simply navigate the notice to know about their selection. They can also click CTRL+F followed by roll number or name for checking the result faster. MBES has also released the name of the rejected candidates along with the detailed reasons for their rejection.
MTET is held at two levels i.e. paper 1 for primary candidates and paper 2 for upper primary candidates. The examination is going to be held in offline mode and the language of the question paper shall be in English. Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete both papers separately. Paper 1 is going to have 150 questions from Child Psychology and Development, Mathematics, Language 1 and 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Science and Environmental Science.
Similarly, paper 2 is going to have 150 questions out of which 30 questions shall be asked from Child Psychology and Development, Mathematics, Language 1 and 2. Also, 60 questions will be asked from the last paper i.e. Science & Maths and Social Science and it shall be optional in nature.
The minimum qualifying marks for MTET 2021 is 55% of the total marks for all the candidates irrespective of their category. Candidates who successfully score the same will be awarded an MTET certificate that comes with a validity of a lifetime.
