MPSC has released an official notice regarding the change in the exam pattern of Maharashtra Forest Service, Maharashtra Engineering Service and Maharashtra Agriculture Service Exam. As per the notification, MPSC has decided to conduct a single joint pre-examination named Maharashtra Gazetted Technical Services Joint Pre-Examination. These changes will be implemented for the notification releasing from 2021. Applicants can download the notice from the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) website, mpsc.gov.in.

Earlier, Maharashtra Public Service Commission used to conduct three separate prelims examinations for Maharashtra Forest Service, Maharashtra Engineering Service and Maharashtra Agriculture Service Exam. Now, candidates have to appear for only one joint pre-exam exam – Maharashtra Gazetted Technical Services Joint Pre-Examination. These changes will come in effect from advertisement releasing in the year 2021.
On qualifying the Maharashtra Gazetted Technical Services Joint Pre-Examination, candidates can appear for the separate main exam of each category. This means that MPSC will conduct mains exam and/or interview for Maharashtra Forest Service, Maharashtra Engineering Service and Maharashtra Agriculture Service Exam separately. The final result for MPSC Recruitment will be declared separately on the MPSC website.
As per the advertisement, candidates have to fill only one MPSC application form. They can access the application link through the official website of MPSC, mpsc.gov.in. However, while applying, they have to opt whether they wish to appear for one, two or three examinations. The applications submitted by the applicant will be used to fill the number of posts under the Forest Service, Engineering Service and Agriculture Service Exam. Based on this, candidates will be called for the further rounds of the selection procedure.
The details regarding MPSC recruitment, application form, eligibility, age limit, fees and general selection procedure will be published in due course of time. Candidates can be suggested to regularly visit the official website, mpsc.gov.in, to get a selection scheme, syllabus and other recruitment details. The other process such as admit card, result declaration remains the same. Candidates can check the Maharashtra Gazetted Technical Services Joint Pre-Examination admit card, result and other details online only.
