The exam date for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) 2022 will be released soon. As of now, the official dates for the examination have not been announced at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The examination is conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS). It will be open to female candidates and the application forms have to be filled online only. Offline or applications by post or any other means will not be accepted.
In terms of eligibility criteria, the candidate must have passed the senior secondary examination or 10+2 with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English. In addition to this, candidates who are appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination will also be eligible to apply for the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing examination provisionally. Moreover, the minimum height required for the female candidates is 152 cm. For candidates belonging to the North-Eastern region, Garhwal, Kumaon and Gorkhas, the minimum height requirement is 148 cm.
The Indian Army B.Sc Nursing exam is conducted to admit female students to the 4-year B.Sc nursing course. Around 220 seats are allocated in the nursing institutes across various states. It will be a computer-based examination comprising multiple-choice questions. The maximum marks for this test are 150 and the questions are asked from topics such as General English, General Intelligence and Science. These questions are equally divided into three sections. A duration of 90 minutes will be given to the students to complete the test.
While filling up the application, one should keep documents such as photo, signature, class 10 mark sheet and certificate, class 12 mark sheet and certificate and other relevant documents. Female candidates who will qualify for the written examination have to appear for an interview after which the Medical fitness test is conducted. Once all these stages of selection are completed, the qualified candidates will be allocated to the respective nursing colleges.
Earlier, the notifications for the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing course were released in the month of November. MNS 2020 notification was available on November 09, 20219 while MNS 2019 notification was out on November 12, 2018. Moreover, the written examinations were scheduled to be conducted in January or February of the subsequent year. Hence, even this time, the notification for MNS 2022 exam can be expected in November 2021. As a result, the examination will likely be held in January or February 2022. Nevertheless, keep an eye on the official website for genuine updates.
