Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the branch-wise exam day, date and time for various papers included in the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2021. The branch-wise schedule has been uploaded on the official website of the conducting body i.e. gate.iitbac.in. According to the announcement, the set of exams are scheduled to begin from February 6, 2021. The national-level entrance exam is scheduled to end on February 14, 2021. IIT-B is going to conduct the GATE 2021 examination for candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate courses in the field of technology, engineering and architecture. This exam shall permit candidates to get admission in prestigious institutes like IITs and IISc Bangalore.
Authorities are going to conduct the GATE 2021 mock exams, provide instructions to invigilators, sanitize the examination centre and carry out other miscellaneous activities on February 5, 2021. Thereafter, on February 6, 2021, IIT-B shall conduct the CE-1, IN and CY papers through a forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. On the same day, CE-2, PH, AR, BM, AE and MN papers shall be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm i.e. in the afternoon session.
IIT B shall conduct EE, GG, AG and EY papers on February 7, 2020, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm which is a forenoon session. On the same day, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, EC, PE, ES, ST and PI papers shall be conducted. After a four-day gap, the same set of miscellaneous activities shall be organised at the GATE 2021 centres to ensure the safety and health of all students. On February 13, 2021, authorities are going to conduct CS-1, MA, BT, CH and TF exams from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and CS-2, XE and XL exams from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
GATE 2021 ME-1 and XH are scheduled on February 14, 2021, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm whereas ME-2 and MT exams shall be conducted on the same day from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This year, IIT-B has decided to conduct the CE, CS and ME papers twice and have also introduced two new papers i.e. ES and XH. Authorities are also expected to release the GATE 2021 Admit Cards on their official portal on January 8, 2021, whereas the results for the examination are expected on March 22, 2021, on the website of the conducting institute. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for clearing their queries and contact the authorities in case of any issues or discrepancies pertaining to the admit card. GATE is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted every year for candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate courses in the
