MAH MCA CET 2018: DTE Maharashtra Announced Result on 03 April 2018

The candidates who have appeared for MAH MCA CET 2018 state level entrance exam held on March 24, 2018, can now check result that was announced on April 03, 2018. The result has been issued online on the official website, dtemaharashtra.gov.in., and the time of the announcement of result is 05:00 pm. It contains the marks obtained by the applicant in the exam along with overall percentile. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their qualifying status.

Contained in the declaration of result, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has released a merit list which contains the details of all the candidates who are eligible for the counselling round. The names of only those candidates are included who have scored minimum cut off marks in the exam.

MAH MCA CET 2018 was held to evaluate the candidates on the basis of their skills for admission to the colleges of Maharashtra in Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) courses. Through the exam, not only the applicants who have completed their intermediate but all the diploma holders will be offered admissions. The marks scored by the candidates in MAH CET 2018 will be accepted by Self-financed/ Government/ Government aided and private institutions in the state.

In order to check the result, a login may also be created in some time. There a candidate has to visit the website of DTE Maharashtra and click the link provided there to get access to the page from where MAH MCA CET 2018 result could be downloaded. In the login, which appears on the screen, they need to provide details such as registration number and date of birth. As soon as the login credentials are verified, scorecard containing the basic information along with marks and percentile is going to be displayed. A candidate has to take a print out of it and keep it secure as a scorecard is going to be required during the counselling round, which will be held thereafter.

MAH MCA CET 2018 Result

A merit list is prepared based on the marks and percentile in the exam for inviting the candidates to the counselling round. Separate merit lists are going to be prepared for Maharashtra state seats, Other Maharashtra seats, and J&K Migrant seats. The list contains the percentile obtained by every candidate.

On the basis of merit list, candidates have to participate in Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) by registering themselves on the portal and getting their documents verified at designated Facilitation Center. After the choice filling, the seat allotment will be done considering the marks scored by a candidate in MAH MCA CET 2018 result and the preference to college. After the allotment of seats, an applicant has to pay the seat acceptance fee at the ARC in online mode only and download the Provisional allotment letter.

Cut off for MAH MCA CET 2018 is going to be released officially for various CAPs. Previous year highest cut-off score in CAP round 1 was 132 for admission to the college of  K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai. For Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Andheri, Mumbai the cut-off score was 131 and 130 for Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology, Chembur, Mumbai. The cut off for the above colleges in the 2nd round of CAP was 128, 127 and 118, respectively. Finally, the cut off for CAP 3rd Round was 146, 126, 106, respectively.
