Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up 27 latest vacancies. The vacancies are for various posts including PGT Teachers. An official notification containing the details of the recruitment is published by KVS at the official website i.e. kvsangathan.nic.in. The last date of receipt of offline applications on the prescribed proforma is January 15, 2021. Proforma for applications is available with the official notification at the website of KVS.
As per the official notification, the vacancies are for the posts of PGT teachers in various disciplines. In addition, vacancies are also available for the posts of HMs and Librarian. For the post of PGT Teachers, the vacancies are available in the subjects of English, Physics, Geography, Maths, Economics, Commerce, History, Chemistry, Hindi, and Biology.
KVS has also indicated the pay scale at which selected candidates are to be appointed as per post. For the post of PGT teachers, candidates are to be appointed at the pay scale of Rs 56100 – 177500 at Level 10 of the pay matrix (7th Pay Commission). HM and Librarian post holders are to be appointed at the Level-7 of the pay matrix in the pay scale of Rs 44900 – 142400.

Applicants must fulfil certain minimum eligibility conditions before they can apply for the recruitment. For the post of PGT teachers, candidates must have secured at leasr 55% marks in Post Graduation. It is also essential that such applicants must have attended 3 or more In-service course/workshop of at least 3 day’s duration. Similarly for the post of Librarian, a Master’s degree in Library Science while for the post of HM, a Graduate degree with 50% or more marks is required. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification for the complete eligibility details.
Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done through Personal Interview. The interview can be conducted at KVS (HQ) in New Delhi or any other place as decided by KVS. Final selection is to be done on the basis of the Personal Interview marks only. However, in case of a tie of marks, the candidates who have higher marks in PG, Graduation degree is to be given preference.
Candidates have to fill up the application form as per the prescribed proforma available with the official notification. Filled up application form along with the APAR grading of last three years and vigilance clearance certificate must sent to the Assistant Commissioner, KVS (HQ) within the last date.
