The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the KTET Hall Ticket 2021 on its official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in for all four categories. According to the official notice, the exam for the TET category 1 and 2 is scheduled for August 31, 2021, and September 01, 2021. The timing of the exam for both days is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12.30 PM. The exam for the TET category 3 and 4 is slated to be held on September 03, 2021, in two slots namely from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 05:00 PM respectively.
The KTET exam is held for four categories namely Category 1 and 2 for Lower and Upper primary teachers. Additionally, Category 3 and 4 are used for the High School teachers and Language teachers respectively.
KTET exam is a teacher eligibility test conducted for providing eligibility certificates to successful candidates. Upon successfully qualifying for the exam, candidates will be eligible to apply for different teachers vacancies in government schools. The candidates who have applied for any of the categories of the KTET exam need to follow the steps given below to download the KTET Hall Ticket 2021:
Step 1: Visit the official portal of K-TET, ktet.kerala.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the link “Download Admit Card May 2021”
Step 3: On the next page, enter the Application number, application id and choose the category from the drop-down menu and click on the Download button.
Step 4: Cross verify the details available on the KTET Hall Ticket 2021 on the next page and save a copy of the same for taking a printout.
The candidates going to appear for the KTET 2021 exam need to abide by the instructions as mentioned by the concerned authorities:
- The candidates must leave for the admit card atleast 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
- The authorities have specified that no other thing apart from the KTET Admit card is allowed in the exam.
- The candidates need to follow the SOPs and a good code of conduct in the exam hall.
- No electronic items like Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches etc are allowed in the exam hall.
- The candidates can only leave the exam hall when the exam is over and the invigilator asks them to do so.
The exam pattern of all the categories is different but the mode of the exam is the same i.e. pen and paper-based. The paper will be held in English/Malayalam language and the duration to complete the test will be 2.5 hours. For category 1, 150 questions from Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language I (Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada), and Language II (English/Arabic) will be asked. The written test for Category 2 will be having questions from Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science/Social Science, Language I (Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada), and Language II (English/Malayalam).
Similarly, for Category 3, candidates need to appear for major subjects like Adolescent Psychology, Teaching Aptitude, Theories of learning, Language (English/Kannada/Malayalam/Tamil), and Subject-specific areas(Content and Pedagogy). Finally, for the last category, 150 questions from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language (Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada/English), and Subject-specific paper will be asked.
