The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is expected to release the ICSI CS Result 2021 today, on its official website, icsi.edu. Although, there is no official news or confirmation by the institute regarding the result declaration. Nevertheless, the candidates who have appeared in the CS exam from August 10 to August 20, 2021, can check their results using their Roll number and Registration number, once it is out. The Insitute has held the written exam for three courses namely, Foundation, Executive and Professional. The ICSI CS exam for the Foundation exam was held on August 13 and August 14, 2021. While the CS Executive and CS Foundation exam was held from August 08 to August 20, 2021, and August 10 to August 20, 2021.
As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the result date or time by the institute itself. If we check the previous stats, then the authorities usually take at least 2 months time to declare the exam result. For example, the result of the CS held in the December session was announced in February. Similarly, for the exam held in the June session, the result was announced in August. However, this time the CS exam has been completed on August 20, 2021, and it is quite impossible that ICSI announces the result within a time span of 5 days. However, we advise that candidates keep a tab on the official website for all the latest updates related to ICSI CS Result 2021.
Only those candidates who score marks equivalent to the minimum qualifying marks for their opted course will be considered successful in the ICSI CS Exam 2021. The candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check their final result for the ICSI CS written test.
Step 1: At first, the candidate has to visit the official website of ICSI, icsi.edu.
Step 2: On the website, the candidate has to find the Student tab and click on the Examination tab from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Then, the candidates need to click on the ICSI Result 2021 for the June session
Step 4: On the next page, they have to choose the category of the exam they have opted for viz. Foundation/Executive/Professional
Step 5: Thereafter, candidates need to enter their Roll number and 17 digit Registration number on the space provided and hit the submit button.
Step 6: Finally, they can check their result and download a copy of the same or save it on their device.
The ICSI CS Result 2021 comprises details like the candidate’s personal details, marks scored in each paper, maximum marks, qualifying status, total marks scored, and validity of the scorecard. The candidates can also opt for result revaluation for any subject within 30 days after result declaration by applying either on the offline/online mode and paying an application fee of Rs 250.
The candidates who have appeared for the ICSI CS exam for any level need to score marks equivalent to the minimum qualifying score to pass the test. As per the official brochure, the candidates need to score at least 40% marks on each paper and 50% aggregate to pass the Foundation and Professional exam. While for the Executive level, candidates have to score at least 40% marks in each paper and overall to qualify for the examination.
After the result is released, ICSI releases the name, qualifying month, aggregate marks, roll number of top 3 students for all three courses. Along with this, a rank list of the top 25 students along with their marks, qualifying status is displayed on the official website.
As per the selection process, the candidate who is a Graduate or class 10+2 is eligible for the CS Foundation Programme. The next stage is the Executive level and only those candidates who qualify for CSEET can appear for this level. After qualifying at the Executive level, candidates can enroll for the Professional level. Finally, the candidates who qualify for the professional level of CS exam become a Company Secretary.
