The Karnataka State Police (KSP) has started the registration process for the recruitment of 4000 Civil Police Constables (CPC), both men and women, across the state. The registration process is online on the official recruitment website of KSP i.e. rec21.ksp-online.in and will be open till June 25, 2021.
Candidates who have passed their high school and intermediate from CBSE, ICSE, SSE, or any equivalent board, are eligible for registration. The minimum age limit is 19 years irrespective of the category of a candidate. The maximum age limit for the GM category is 25 years whereas it is 27 years for candidates from SC/ST/Cat-01, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B. The maximum age limit for applicants from the Tribal group is 30 years. The date for age consideration is June 25, 2021.
The candidates belonging to GM and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B) category will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 400/- while the application fee for SC/ST/Cat-01 candidates is Rs. 200/-.
The eligible candidates can register themselves by following the given steps.
Step 1: Go to the official website of KSP i.e. rec21.ksp-online.in and scroll down to the end of the page. Here the candidates will see a table and option to apply for the 4000 vacancies.
Step 2: As soon as they tap on the ‘Click Here To Register’ option a new page will open. Now, candidates have to click on the ‘New Application’ option available on the left side of the page.
Step 3: Again a new page will open with a set of instructions. After going through all the instructions carefully candidates should tick mark the ‘I agree’ option and then click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 4: Here candidates will see a drop-down and have to select how they are “applying as a” from the given options i.e Direct Candidate or Ex-Serviceman Candidate.
Step 5: Now candidates have to fill in all the necessary details carefully i.e personal, educational, and details related to the reservation.
Step 6: Candidates can pay their application fees only through an authorized branch of the post office or bank, as mentioned in the detailed notification. Candidates will be able to print their application forms only after they have paid the application fees. The last date for fee payment is June 28, 2021.
The recruitment for the post of Civil Police Constables is a three-stage process. Candidates have to appear for the written examination at first which will be conducted on the same day at all centers. After that, they have to go through the Endurance Test (ET) and Physical Strength Test (PST). In the third step, a medical examination of the candidates is carried out before recruiting them.
