Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has notified that for the academic session 2019-20 the release of e-prospectus and application form is being delayed. This is because, the process of JNUEE 2019 Exam is being changed from offline to CBT examination. In addition to that the questions will now be entirely MCQ based.

Due to the aforementioned changes, there is a certain delay in the release of application forms and e-prospectus. Earlier it was notified that the JNUEE 2019 Exam will be held between December 27-30, 2018. However, later via a circular on November 11, 2018, it has been notified that the application form and e-prospectus now will be delayed, however the expected release dates have not been declared as of now.

The officials has requested the candidates to stay updated about the release dates of the application form and e prospectus via the official website. Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) 2019 is conducted for admission in various courses like M.Tech, Biotechnology, PG Diploma Programmes, MA, MCS, MCA, BA, etc. The entrance exam for Engineering and other exams is called JNUEE and for the biotechnology admission it is known as CEEB – Common Entrance Examination for Biotechnology.

As per the new exam pattern of JNUEE, the exam will be conducted in the online mode and there will be MCQ type questions. There is no other information about any new changes in the pattern as of now. However, until now the exam papers had 100 questions of total 100 marks. The total time for the exam was 3 hours.

To appear in the JNUEE 2019 exam for admission in the University, candidates have to fill the application form in online mode only. Candidates have to make the payment online. Normally JNU releases their application forms in the month of September. However, this year the delay is due to the conversion of the offline mode of examination to an entirely CBT mode.

To fill the application form, candidates have to register first by entering their Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Nationality, Date of Birth, etc. Candidates will also have to upload photograph and signature in the defined dimensions. To complete the process the application fee has to be paid in the online mode in the later stage.

JNU has been ranked No.1 in India by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a Grade Point of 3.91 (on a scale of 4). In addition to that, in NIRF ranking it has been ranked No. 2 in the university category in the year 2018.
