Recently, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to register for OPENMAT and BEd entrance exam. Interested candidates can now submit the application form until November 18, 2018. It is a golden opportunity for those who could not able to fill the form before November 15, 2018. The exam date for IGNOU OPENMAT is December 16, 2018. For BEd exam, the test date has not been announced yet.
From the last 3-4 days, the official website of IGNOU (ignou.ac.in) was not working properly. Candidates who wanted to register for BEd or OPENMAT could not able to access the application form. Due to which many candidates could not able to fill before the deadline. So, now with the website working properly, students must fill the application form without any delay. It is advisable that you submit it as soon as possible to avoid last minute hassle.
The registration for both the exams has been available online. The application form has been available since October 22, 2018. To apply for the exam, candidates have to first register with a valid email id and phone number. Following that needs to fill the application form and upload the photograph & signature. The application fee for the exam is Rs 1000/- for all the candidates.

OPENMAT 2019 is an entrance exam conducted by IGNOU for admissions to MBA programmes. Candidates interested in distance learning can apply for the university before the last date. The university takes admission on the merit basis. Candidates clearing the cut off will able to participate in the admission process.
So, in order to crack the exam, prepare for it according to its exam pattern only. Candidates can also solve previous year question papers to get the idea of questions that could appear in the exam. Through OPENMAT (XLIV), students will able to take admission in January/February or July/ August session by filling the Admission Form 2.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year distance learning programme offered by the university. Students interested in B.Ed can pursue the programme in English or Hindi Medium. The programme fee is Rs 50,000/- for the entire course. The programme offers quality education to train candidates to attain higher skills in teaching at secondary/ senior secondary level. For the entrance exam preparation, candidates can refer to previous year Question Paper and Sample Paper.
