Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the notification for the recruitment of 462 vacancies under three separate departments. These include Jal Shakti Department, Horticulture Department and Agriculture Production & Farmer’s Welfare Department. As per the official notification, eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment drive from October 09, 2021. They will have a month’s time i.e., till November 09, 2021, to fill and submit their online application forms. These will be made available on the official portal ssbjk.org.in. While waiting for the JKSSB Recruitment 2021 form to release, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria to know whether they fit the requirements or not.
The vacancy distribution is as follows –
Jal Shakti Department – 163 vacancies
Horticulture Department – 198 vacancies
Agriculture Production & Farmer’s Welfare Department – 101 vacancies
Follow the steps given below to apply for the JKSSB 2021 recruitment process–
Step 1: Visit the official website of the selection board i.e., ssbjk.org.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the bar present on the top right side of the page. Option of ‘Candidate Registration’ is available here. Use a valid email ID and mobile number to register on the website.
Step 3: After successfully registering, login to the website using the required credentials. To do so, click on the ‘Candidate Logon’ link and enter details such as mobile number, email ID and password.
Step 4: Under the ‘Latest Openings’ section, search for the appropriate advertisement and click on the ‘Apply Now’ option.
Step 5: Fill the application form with the required details and click on the ‘Save & Continue’ option to access the subsequent sections.
Step 6: Upload a scanned copy of the recent passport-size photograph and signature in accordance with the dimensions and format mentioned by authorities.
Step 7: Click on the ‘Pay Now’ option to pay the application fee. Portals such as Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card are valid for payment.
(To apply for the JKSSB 2021 recruitment process, all candidates must pay Rs.350 as application fee.)
Step 8: After successful application fee payment, submit it and print a copy of the confirmation page and fee receipt for future use.
JKSSB authorities are going to conduct the recruitment drive for candidates belonging to various education levels. So, Class 12 passouts, diploma holders and graduates are open to apply for the recruitment drive. All they need to do is fill the online application within the stipulated deadline.
JKSSB authorities have also provided the eligibility criteria to apply for the recruitment drive. The age limit of a candidate willing to apply for the vacancies should range between 40 to 48 years depending on the category to which a candidate belongs. Furthermore, they must produce valid certificates to prove their level of education i.e., Class 12, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation or PhD. Only after sufficient proof of education, a candidate becomes eligible to apply for further selection.
