Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is all set to release the admit cards today, October 12, 2021, for the combined competitive preliminary exam. This exam is scheduled to be held on October 24, 2021, for recruiting qualified individuals to the Kashmir Administrative Service. Those who have applied for the preliminary exam can download their admit cards from the official website jkpsc.nic.in, once they are released. All they have to do is access the admit card download link, fill in their login credentials and submit them to access the document. These credentials may include roll number or registration ID, Date of Birth, etc.
This year, the JKPSC KAS preliminary exam is being held for filling a total of 187 vacancies under different administrative posts. Previously, the exam was set to be held on July 11, 2021, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the country is slowly stabilizing from the pandemic, JKPSC has decided to conduct this state-level recruitment drive. For this drive, the commission has reportedly received a total of 30,565 applications.
Those who have successfully applied for the JKPSC KAS 2022 preliminary examination are instructed to use the steps given below for downloading their admit cards –
Step 1: Visit the official website of the commission i.e., jkpsc.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, search for the JKPSC KAS 2022 Preliminary Admit card Download link and click on it.
Step 3: By doing so, it will redirect to a new page asking for login credentials. Enter the required login credentials, such as registration number, roll number, date of birth, mobile number, etc.
Step 4: Submit the credentials to access the admit card.
Step 5: Download or take a printout of the admit card for future use or reference.
Candidates who are unable to download their JKPSC KAS 2022 admit cards are instructed to appear before the commission on or before October 20, 2021. While doing so, they are required to provide proper representation and valid proof to show that they had successfully completed the application process and paid the prescribed fee. No such claims will be entertained beyond October 20, 2021. Hence, candidates have to make note of this and act accordingly.
The preliminary recruitment exam is all set to be conducted on October 24, 2021, in two shifts – the first shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Due to a four-tier security or frisking system, all candidates are instructed to report to the exam centre at least 2 hours prior, irrespective of their shift timings.
