Here the registrant can download information brochure, and go through instructions. Once all instructions are understood, click the proceed button.

Then enter name, date of birth, gender, address, password to complete the registration step of JEE Main 2021. Doing this generates the application number which must then be kept safely.

After that, applicant has to login using the application number and password, to fill in rest of the details in the form. Then upload documents that include photograph, signature, category certificate.

Finally, the last step entails fee payment. Post which, the confirmation page is generated. Generation of confirmation page proves that the form is submitted successfully.

The application fee amount is dependent on the number of papers chosen, location of exam center (whether in India or abroad), gender of candidate, and category of candidate. As it stands, the application fee for those who apply for any one paper, in India centers is Rs 325 for all female and transgender candidates, and SC/ST male candidates, and it is Rs 650 for general and OBC male candidates. The same fee is Rs 1500 and Rs 3000 for centers outside india for the same candidature type respectively.

Likewise, candidates who opt for more than one paper but have center in India have to pay Rs 650 if they are female, transgender, or SC / ST / PWD males. For the same case the fee is Rs 1300 for male general / EWS / OBC. For these two types if the center is outside India then the fee is Rs 3000, and Rs 6000 respectively.

The last date to apply for JEE Main 2021 session 1 is January 16, 2021. And the last date to pay fee is January 17, 2021.

That is, one can opt for one or more sessions. However if candidate choses to opt for only one session then they will get another chance to apply for subsequent sessions.

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2021 four times this year. The exam dates for February session are February 23 to 26, 2021. For the 2nd session the dates are March 15 to 18, 2021. Then for the 3rd session the dates are April 27 to 30, 2021. And the 4th session exam dates are May 24 to 28, 2021.
