JEE Main 2019 has started from January 08, 2019 and will be conducted till January 12, 2019. Candidates today, that is on January 10, 2019, have reported glitches in the systems that they were allotted at the center. As we know that National Testing Agency(NTA ) has taken over the examination from CBSE this year and so, the examination was changed to a complete computer-based platform by NTA.
On the third day of the JEE Main 2019 exam, i.e on Jan 10, 2019, few students reported technical glitch at DPG college, Gurgaon. One of the students said that “The system was not working properly, and I had to shift from one system to another three times”. However, the student who reported the technical glitch also commented that extra time was given for the time wasted on switching from one system to another.
As per a notice released by NTA, a total number of 11,09,250 candidates have registered themselves for JEE Main 2019. The examination is being conducted in a total of 467 centres in 258 cities of the nation.
Paper two of JEE Main 2019 which was for the candidates for B.Arch programmes was held only on January 08, 2019. A total number of 180,052 candidates were reported to have registered for the paper 2 of JEE Main 2019. Similarly talking about paper 1 that is only for BE/B. Tech programmes the total number of registered candidates are 9,29,198. The examination for paper 1 will be conducted till January 12, 2019.
It is expected that JEE Main 2019 official answer key will be published by NTA this year. The answer key is expected to be released within seven days after the examination has been conducted.

JEE Main is a national level examination conducted for candidates aspiring for higher studies in BE/B. Tech and B.Arch programmes majorly in the IITs, NITs and CFITs. Apart from this many other private colleges and deemed universities take admission through JEE Main score. Until last year the examination was conducted by CBSE which has been taken over by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from this year onwards.
With the change in the conducting body of the examination, there have been some major changes in JEE Main this year. The examination for the first time is being conducted on Computer-based mode completely, Also the test this year is being conducted twice that is once in January and the next test will be conducted in the month of April 2019.
