India Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is looking for eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Trade Apprentices. An official notification with Advertisement No. IOCL/MKTG/SR/APPR/2020-21 Phase-I is published on the website, iocl.com. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications for 493 vacant posts. The last to apply for IOCL Trade Apprentice recruitment is December 12, 2020.
The announced recruitment is especially for the engagement of Technical and Non-technical Apprentices. Eligible candidates will be recruited in its South Indian locations – Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The period of the apprenticeship will be for 12 months and 15 months depending upon the trade candidates have opted for.
IOCL Trade Apprentice Recruitment Notification
To submit applications for IOCL Trade Apprentice, candidates must have passed 10th class and possess 02-year ITI course in concerned trade. Graduation degree is required to submit applications for Accountant trade. Those who have passed 12th class are eligible for Data Entry Operator post. To apply for Data Entry Skilled Certificate Holder, aspirants must have Skill Certificate on Domestic Data Entry Operator.
Along with the educational qualification, candidates must also check the age limit. The minimum age limit for the IOCL Trade Apprentices is 18 years. Aspirant’s age should not be more than that of 24 years as on October 31, 2020. IOCL practice the relaxation policy providing relaxation on the upper age limit to the reserved category candidates. Up to 05 years is relaxable for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC category candidates. Candidates belonging to PwBD category shall be given age relaxation of up to 10 years and 13 years for OBC- NCL.
To submit applications for IOCL recruitment, aspirants first have to register themselves to apprenticeshipindia.org. All the candidates are advised to keep a copy of the printout of IOCL application form for future reference. Applicants applying for more than a post are not considered and their applications are rejected.
The selection of candidates is done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written test and meeting the eligibility criteria. The written test is conducted with Objective Type questions. Aspirants can check the syllabus and exam pattern for IOCL Trade Apprentice.
