The application for admission into the Indian Army Military Nursing Service (MNS) will open shorty. Interested candidates should keep an eye on the official website indianarmy.nic.in soon. Only female candidates can register for the B.Sc. entrance. Along with personal details candidates will need to have a scanned copy of their passport-size photo, signature, and left-hand thumb impression. Candidates will also be required to pay an online fee of 750 for successfully submitting their application. The exam is going to be conducted for a total of 220 seats across six institutes in the country.
Here is how candidates can successfully register for the exam:-
Step 1– Visit the official website indianarmy.nic.in and go to the Officer’s login page
Step 2– enter your login credentials or register if you haven’t
Step 3– Fill in your details and keep saving each page
Step 4– If a candidate is eligible, an apply button will appear at the end of their application.
Step 5– Candidates are to upload their pictures and signatures etc
Step 6– The candidate has to make the payment within 24-48 hours of filling the form and log in again. Click on apply of the payment page, enter the ‘DU number’ sent by the bank, and then your payment will be processed.
Exam Pattern
Candidates have to appear for a written test followed by an interview to secure admission into different colleges. The paper pattern is objective type and it can be largely divided into five sections. These are General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, General Intelligence. General Intelligence includes a plethora of topics such as reasoning, visual memory, relationship concepts, problem-solving, decision making, etc. All questions are asked from the Class 11-12 curriculum. The paper consists of 150 questions to be solved in 90 minutes. Each correct answer will be rewarded with 1 mark for the candidate. There is no provision for negative marking in the examination.
The MNS is a highly coveted exam especially for women candidates interested to join the army, This makes the competition tougher.
