The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the date sheet for the students of class 10 and 12 sooner this year. Last year, the date sheet was disclosed in the month of January 2018. But as per the circular released by CBSE, all the activities related to the board exams will happen 15 days prior this year. So, CBSE Date Sheet 2019 is expected to be released in the third or fourth week of December 2018.

According to the notice released by CBSE, the board will conduct the exams in the month of February 2019 and in March 2019. First, the exams for the vocational subjects will be held and then the core subjects’ exams will be conducted.

There are 15 vocational subjects in Class 10 while 40 skill education subjects have been offered for class 12. There are also some other subjects such as Graphics, Office Communication, Web Applications which have less than 500 students. CBSE has provided the core subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Languages, Chemistry, Biology, Geography etc.

The board has also changed the format for the question paper for the students of Class 10, 12. The number of internal choices has been increased by about 33%. Internally, for all the core subjects, there will 11 choices for the students in various questions.

Also, CBSE has changed the exam pattern for English (core) subject. There will be 19 questions in Section A instead of 24. In the total, the number of questions for English will be decreased to 35 from 40.

Along with the exam pattern, the Central Board of Secondary Education has also changed the passing criteria. Now, the students of class 10 will have to obtain 33% combined in practical as well as in the theory exams. No need to gain separate 33% marks in both. This initiative has given a sigh of relief to the students.

Last year, for class 10, the board was started from March 05 and ended on April 04, 2018. So, the board took time of a month to complete the exams.

The students of Class 12 had given the board exams from March 05 to April 14, 2018, in the previous year. The board exams for class 12 were conducted a few days more than class 10.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is one of the most popular boards in the country. It conducts the exams in the country as well as outside the country. The board is popularly known as CBSE. There are thousands of private and government schools affiliated with CBSE. All Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Private schools and other are affiliated with this board. CBSE directs the schools to follow the NCERT curriculum. For Class 10, 12, the board conducts the exams in the month of February and March every year. Earlier, CBSE used to conduct the entrance exams such as JEE Mains, NEET, UGC NET etc. t is one of the largest as well as the most reputed education board.
