ICMR- National Institute of Malaria Research is hiring candidates for the vacant pots of Research Assistant, Lab Technician and Multi-Tasking Staff. Candidates can download the advertisement from nimr.org. Eligible and intending candidates have to appear for the walk-in-interview scheduled for December 14, 2020. Aspirants can submit their applications on the same day for 03 vacant posts.
The post of Research Assistant, Lab Technician and Multi Tasking Staff is purely on contractual basis. The project is entitled “Monitoring the Efficacy of ACT for the treatment of uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria in India (TES 2020)”. Aspirants are recruited for a short period of 06 months for the NIMR project. Salary for Research Assistant post is Rs. 29565/-, Rs. 17520/- is the salary of Lab Technician and Rs. 15330/- is of Multi-Tasking Staff.
Interested and eligible candidates have to appear for the walk-in-interview along with their application forms. As discussed above, the interview will take place on December 14, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The venue for the interview is ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research Field Unit Civil Hospital, Nadiad Gujarat.
Along with the application form, candidates also have to carry one recent passport size photograph, photocopies & original of the certificates and documents in support of eligibility. The candidate who is serving in Central/State Govt. / Autonomous Bodies/PSUs also have to carry No Objection Certificate from the present employer.
Only eligible candidates are invited to appear for ICMR- NIMR recruitment. So, those who wish to apply for Research Assistant must have a graduation degree in science stream from a recognized university and 03 years of work experience. Candidates with Master Degree in a relevant subject are also eligible for Research Assistant post. 12th pass candidates can submit their applications for Lab Technician post. Provided they must have 02 years Diploma in DMLT or one year DMLT with one year experience in the required field. Those who have passed 12th class or equivalent are eligible for Multi-Tasking Staff post. They must also have 3 years of experience in laboratory work in Health-related projects.
With the educational qualification, aspirants must go through the age limit as well. To apply for the Research Assistant/ Lab Technician, aspirant’s age should not be more than 30 years. For the post of Multi-Tasking Staff, the upper age limit is 25 years. Aspirants are suggested to go through the notification to know more about the recruitment.
