The Ministry of Defence has released the dates for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) examination 2021. As per unofficial sources, the ICG 2021 examination will be held over three days starting from September 25, 2021, and ending on September 27, 2021. On September 14, 2021, the individual examination date and city of the candidates were released on the official site joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. They can now check the same from the candidate login portal by entering their email ID and password.
As per the official website, the admit cards for the ICG 2021 examination will be available 48 to 24 hours prior to the examination date. For example, if a candidate’s examination falls on September 26, 2021, then they can download the admit card either on September 24 or 25, 2021. Please note that one can only know the exact date for downloading the admit cards after they log in to check the exam date. They will also receive an intimation mail regarding the availability of admit cards on the registered email IDs.
Candidates must carefully note the exact date for downloading the ICG 2021 admit cards because the same won’t be available before the mentioned date. After noting the required date, visit joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in on the same day. Then, below the ‘News/Announcements’ tab, find the link for downloading the ICG admit card 2021. After clicking on the link, the candidate login page will open where one has to enter their email ID, password followed by the captcha given below. Now, click on the ‘Login’ button and then scroll below the page to find the admit card details. Click on the ‘Download Admit Card’.
As mentioned earlier, the ICG 2021 admit cards will only be available as per the allotted date. After downloading the admit cards, it is mandatory to take a coloured copy of the same. The admit card contains details like the candidate’s personal information, date of the exam, reporting time, closing time, examination and the address of the examination centre. It may also contain the examination centre guidelines, COVID-19 guidelines, etc. Candidates are expected to read the COVID-19 guidelines and also adhere to the same.
On the day of the examination, they have to carry their class 10 original mark sheet, a valid photo ID card that was submitted during the online application and also mentioned in the admit card. In addition to that, one coloured back-to-back printout of the ICG 2021 admit card and two passport-sized coloured photos that have the same facial features as the one uploaded during the application must be carried. Candidates failing to carry these documents on the examination day will not be allowed entry.
