Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) was going to release the IBPS Rural Regional Bank (IBPS RRB) 2021 admit cards on July 09, 2021. However, no download link has been published on the official website ibps.in. Furthermore, authorities are yet to clarify or provide any reason for the delay in the release of admit cards. As of now, the IBPS RRB Pre-Exam Training (PET) 2021 is scheduled to be held on from July 19 to 25, 2021. However, as admit cards are yet to release, there are speculations of the exam either getting postponed or cancelled entirely.
In the IBPS RRB 2021 official advertisement, it was clearly stated that call letters for PET 2021 shall be released on July 09, 2021. Subsequently, training for the registered candidates will be conducted the following week. However, below the schedule, authorities also specified the words “In case it is possible and safe to hold PET”.
The country has just begun recovering from the second wave of coronavirus and various states and central agencies have decided to conduct their respective entrance exams in July or August 2021. With this thought in mind, students were expecting IPBS to follow their pre-decided schedule and release the admit cards on the expected date. However, with the delay in updating the admit card link and the safety statement specified in the information brochure, candidates are now left in a dilemma, that whether the exam will be held on time or will get postponed.
The non-release of PET 2021 admit cards can imply three things – 1. IBPS authorities faced certain technical issues due to which they were unable to release admit cards on the specified date, 2. Authorities may have decided to postpone PET 2021 in light of the prevailing circumstances and, 3. The exam has been cancelled again, due to the prevailing conditions.
Here again, all three are mere speculations originating due to the delay in the release of IBPS PET 2021 admit cards. The bank authorities are yet to provide a suitable explanation on the same. In the meantime, students are instructed to stay calm and to not believe any baseless rumours. They are advised to refer only to the official website ibps.in regarding the updates related to the exam.
Once released, candidates can download their IBPS PET 2021 admit cards from the official website by clicking on the “IBPS RRB Admit Card 2021 for pre-exam training” link available on the website’s homepage. Thereafter, candidates must enter the required login credentials to access the admit cards. Students are advised to take a printout of their admit cards for future use. 2-3 printouts of the admit card well-in advance before the training are recommended to be on the safer side.
