Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced the final result for the IB ACIO-II/Executive Recruitment 2022. This result is based on the 3-step selection process which recently ended with interview session of shortlisted candidates. Instead of issuing individual scorecard to each candidate, MHA decided on listing out the roll number of provisionally selected candidates in PDF format. This file has been uploaded to the official website mha.gov.in.
The final merit list does not guarantee a candidate’s selection into the Intelligence Bureau. The candidate still has to provide his/her eligibility, and physical fitness before filing up a vacancy under the post of Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (IB ACIO).
IB ACIO 2021 Recruitment – Roll Numbers & Specifications
The official IB ACIO 2021 final merit list mentions the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates without following any order of merit. Hence, a candidate has no choice but to use the ‘Ctrl + F’ combination to search for his/her roll number. Besides several roll numbers, terms like EWS, OBC, ST, SC and (P). The first four terms are mere categories under which the corresponding roll numbers have been shortlisted. However, candidates from reserved categories who do carry any such term beside them, have been selected under the unreserved standards.
The ‘P’ term denotes that a candidate has been kept on provisional basis due to non-submission of required documents, during the time of verification or interview. Such candidates need to submit the required details/documents to stand a chance for final recruitment.
The IB ACIO 2021 result PDF also mentions an important detail about EWS candidates. Accordingly, such individuals have been kept on a provisional basis in order to scrutinize the validity of their Income & Asset certificate, issued by the competent authority.
The PDF further clarifies that merely qualifying all three stages of the IB ACIO 2021 recruitment drive does not guarantee final selection. Candidates need to also clear other steps including document verification, medical examination, fulfillment of eligibility criteria, etc to be finally inducted.
