IAF is all set to issue the AFCAT 1 admit card on February 01, 2019 at afcat.cdac.in. The admit card will be released in the candidate’s login section on the official website of AFCAT, and the candidates will be sent the intimation regarding the availability of admit card for the exam by IAF. Then all those candidates who will get the SMS or email on their registered number or email id will be able to download the admit card by entering the email id and password.
IAF is issuing the admit card for the AFCAT and EKT examination to be held on February 16, 17, 2019. At the time of issuance of the admit card the AFCAT 01/2019 tab under candidate login section on official website will be activated. Now, this tab is showing the message “DEAR CANDIDATES, THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR AFCAT 01/2019 IS CLOSED”.
Except for making the admit card available on the candidate’s login section, IAF will send the admit card the candidates registered email id. And those who will not receive the admit card by either of the methods can contact the IAF over the phone 020-25503105 or 020-25503106, or email can be addressed at [email protected]
All the Engineering background candidates have to appear in AFCAT and EKT. IAF is conducting the examination in two shifts, the shift I, there is only one paper i.e. AFACT, and in I shift, there are two papers AFCAT + EKT in the shift II. The reporting time for a shift I is 08:00 am on each day, and 12:30 for shift II. The candidates have to present at the allocated exam center on the reporting time.
IAF will not provide an entry in the exam without the admit card, but only admit card is not sufficient for the entry, the IAF has directed to candidates to bring any valid photo identity (issued by Indian Government) card which is bearing the photograph of the candidate.
All the candidates who are appearing in the exam have to obtain the cut off marks in order to qualify the exam. The IAF hasn’t provided any exact marks as minimum qualifying marks in the notification but the candidates can check the last 10 years cut off marks. In AFCAT 02/2018 the cut-off marks are 140 in AFCAT and 55 in EKT.
