The Indian Airforce is expected to announce the IAF Airmen Result 2021 today i.e. August 11, 2021. The IAF conducted the Airmen exam from July 12 to July 18, 2021. The candidates can check the final result for the aforesaid post on the official website of the force i.e. airmenselection.cdac.in/CASB. The candidates successful in the examination have to appear in the next rounds of the selection process i.e. Physical Fitness Test.
The Indian Air Force has not notified any official date for the result of the Airmen. However, based on last year’s data, the probable date of the release of the final result is at least 22-24 days from the last day of the exam. Like in the year 2020, the exam was concluded on November 04, 2020, and the final result was available on November 27, 2020. Similarly, the result for the exam in 2019 was released on April 09, 2019, for the exam held from March 14 to March 17, 2019. With this data, we can assume that results will be available anytime soon.
The final selection of the candidates in the IAF Airmen examination is based on their final score with respect to the cut-off marks as released by the IAF. Like for the Airmen, 01/2020 notification, the cut-off mark for the Group X and Y was 36.25 out of 70 marks and 37.25 marks out of 50 marks respectively. The IAF Airmen for 01/2019 was 36 marks for Group X and 38 marks for Group Y.
A similar trend followed for the 01/2018 exam wherein the cut-off marks for Group X were 38 out of 70 while 36 out of 50 for Group Y. Also, the cut-off marks for Airmen 02/2018, the cut-off marks for Group X and Y were 27.75 out of 70 marks and 32.75 marks out of 50 respectively.
The cut-off marks of IAF Airmen Group X for the year 2017 was 32 marks out of 70 marks while the same was 34 marks out of 50 marks for Group Y. For the year 2016, the cut-off marks for IAF Group X were 31 marks and 29 marks for Group Y.
With the previous year’s data, we can estimate that the cut off marks for Group X can be somewhere between 35 marks to 39 marks out of 70 marks. At the same time, the expected cut off marks for Group Y can be between 32 marks to 38 marks out of 50 marks.
