Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) recently released the HTET brochure and application form 2021 on the official website, haryanatet.in. The board has invited applications from aspiring candidates for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). According to the official brochure, the registration form for TET, Haryana has commenced on November 15 to 25, 2021. The edits and corrections in the application forms can be done between November 26 to 28, 2021. Haryana TET 2021 examination is scheduled to be held on December 18 and 19, 2021 in multiple shifts. The admit card for the examination can be downloaded from December 8, 2021, onwards. Admit cards would not be sent by post under any circumstances.
HTET Eligibility Criteria 2021
The board has released the official brochure inviting applications from candidates for three levels i.e. PRT (class 1 to 5), TGT (class 6 to 8), and PGT (Post Graduate Teacher). The basic eligibility for candidates applying for PRT (primary teacher) is Senior Secondary passed with 50% marks and clearing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduate candidates can also apply for this examination provided they possess the relevant Diploma certificate.
For candidates applying to the post of TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher), the basic eligibility is having a Bachelor’s with the subject opted for in the application form. The applicant must also have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education from a recognized institute. Similarly, the eligibility for HTET PGT is having completed Master’s or PG in the concerned subjects with at least 50% marks and having B.Ed from a recognized university.
HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted by BSEH on an annual basis to award TET certificates to eligible candidates. The examination is conducted at three levels namely, PRT, TGT, and PGT. The exam will be conducted in the conventional manner, through pen-and-paper format. Successful candidates are awarded a TET certificate that comes with a validity of a lifetime and makes them eligible to apply against any teacher vacancy released by any government-owned school in the state.

Step 1: Visit the official portal of HTET, haryanatet.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the registration button and successfully register by entering relevant details
Step 3: After this, fill the application form with all the details and note down the application number and password
Step 4: On the next page, upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format
Step 5: Finally, pay the application fee relevant to the candidate’s category and take a printout of the HTET application form 2021
The SC/ST candidates opting for one category need to pay INR 500. Whereas, for the unreserved category, the application fee for HTET 2021 is INR 1000 that has to be paid via an online payment channel. There is no provision for refund of fees once remitted.
Candidates are advised to take note that their candidature is subject to cancellation if multiple applications are submitted from different districts or for the same level. Therefore, it is advised to fill the form carefully and in accordance with the instructions released by the board.
