Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) informs via a notification on 29 Oct 2018 at hssc.gov.in that Group D Admit Cards for posts advertised vide Advt No 4/2018 will be available from 02 Nov 2018 instead of today. From 02 Nov 2018, HSSC Group D Admit Card 2018 shall be issued for exams scheduled to be held on 10, 11 Nov 2018.
The Commission was supposed to release HSSC Group D Admit Card 2018 today, on 29 Oct 2018, as per notice released on 15 Oct 2018 regarding exam dates and pattern.
Exam shall be held on 10, 11, 17, and 18 Nov 2018 in two sessions on each day. The first session shall be the Morning session from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. And Evening Session will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. For the former, reporting time is 9 AM, and no one shall be allowed after 9:30 AM. For the latter, reporting time shall be 1:30 PM, with no late arrivals allowed after 2 PM.
According to the initial notice, candidates who will appear in exam to be held on 17 and 18 Nov 2018 will get their admit cards on 07 Nov 2018. The new notification has not indicated that there will be any change in date of issuance of admit card of those candidates.
To read notice published today regarding HSSC Admit Card 2018 delay, candidates need to visit hssc.gov.in. There they have to navigate to ‘Public Notice’ section which has all notifications by HSSC to applicants and candidates. Here, one can see notice titled ‘notice to candidates for Group – D exam’ against Advertisement No. 4/2018.
The complete notice says, ‘It is for the information of all concerned candidates that the Admit card for Group-D Post against Advt. No. 4/2018, Cat. No. 01 for dates 10.11.2018 and 11.11.2018 will be made available on Commission’s website from 02.11.2018. The candidates can download their admit card from 02.11.2018 onwards from website of the Commission i.e. hssc.gov.in.‘
Only such candidates will not get admit cards, whose application forms were rejected. Some likely causes of rejection can be submission of more than one forms in a category, incomplete forms, fee not deposited, qualification not fulfilled, age criteria not satisfied.
HSSC Group D Exam 2018 shall be a written exam with 90 questions of 90 marks. General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi or concerned or relevant subject will have 75% weightage. Rest 25% weightage will be for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture of Haryana.
For the purpose of selection, candidates will be awarded marks out of 90 in written exam, and marks out of 10 for Socio-Economic criteria and experience.
HSSC Group D Recruitment 2018 is for 18218 vacancies. There are 8312 vacancies of General candidates, 8312 vacancies of General candidates, 4245 vacancies of SC candidates, 3345 vacancies of BCA candidates, 2316 vacancies of BCB candidates. Matriculation or class 10 pass candidates who had studied Hindi or Sanskrit upto class 10 as one of the subjects, and who are between 18 to 42 years old are eligible for the post.
