SRM University has recently announced the exam dates and released the application form for SRMJEEE 2019. Now as per the announcement the SRMJEEE 2019 Exam will be conducted on April 15 – 25, 2019. In the similar duration NTA is conducting JEE Main 2019 in April 2019. The duration of JEE Main 2019 April Exam as announced by NTA is April 06 – 20, 2019.

Thus candidates who will opt to appear in JEE Main 2019 in April as well as in SRMJEEE 2019 will face trouble if their exam dates clash. The dates that will clash are 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 April 2019. Thus, while booking the slot of SRMJEEE 2019, candidates have to take care of this fact.

SRM gives candidates an option to select their preferred exam center, time and date. However, this facility is not provided by NTA for JEE Main exam. Thus, candidates are left with the only option to adjust their SRMJEEE 2019 dates while booking the slots such that they don’t clash with the JEE Main 2019 April exam, of they wish to appear in both the exams.

SRM has released their online application forms recently on October 27, 2018. Candidates can now strt applying for the same. On the other hand the JEE Main 2019 Application Form for the April 2019 exam will be available on February 08, 2019. Thus, those candidates who wish to appear in both JEE Main 2019 April Exam and SRMJEEE 2019, while filling the application form must keep the clash of dates in mind.

SRMJEEE 2019 V/S JEE Main 2019

JEE Main 2019 April Exam will be the second attempt in 2019 for the candidates who have already appeared in JEE Main 2019 January Exam. However, SRM is conducting the entrance exam for admission in UG engineering courses once a year during April 15 – 25, 2019.

SRMJEEE 2019 is an online entrance examination for admission in SRM group of Institutes. JEE Main 2019 April Exam will be a national level entrance exam for admission in B.E/B.Tech courses in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. JEE Main 2019 qualified candidates can appear in JEE Advanced 2019 exam for admission in IITs.

Talking about the level of difficulty of both the examinations it is believed by most of the aspirants and test takers that SRMJEEE is not as difficult as JEE Main. However, it requires a good deal of preparation and practice. If an aspirant is preparing for JEE Main, then they need no special preparation for SRMJEEE.

JEE Main contains application as well as concept based questions. SRMJEEE is more of a “direct from the syllabus” sort of a exam. Both exams are MCQ based, online and contains questions from 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There is negative marking in JEE Main bur=t no negative marking is in SRMJEEE.

However, right now NTA has released the JEE Main 2019 January Exam center, date and time. It will be also releasing the admit card from December 17, 2018.
