Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Educcation (HPBOSE) is all set to conduct the HP Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) 2021 examination today, November 13, 2021, through the pen-and-paper format. Admit cards have already been issued to registered candidates on the official website hpbose.org. Today’s eligibility test is meant for Shastri as well as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Arts. Candidates seeking to pursue a career in these two fields will be appearing for the exam today. Read ahead to get more details about the eligibility test.
HP TET 2021 Exam Timings
HP TET 2021 examination will be conducted in two shifts of 2.5 hours duration. Shift 1 will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm while Shift 2 will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Today, the TGT (Arts) exam will be held in the first slot and the Shastri TET will be held in the second slot. The same slot timings will be applicable for the remaining days of HP TET 2021 i.e., November 14, 21 and 28, 2021. Candidates must note these timings carefully and report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes prior to the exam.
HP TET 2021 Documents to Carry
While reporting to the HP TET 2021 exam centre, candidates must carry two important documents with them. These documents are as follows – \
# HP TET 2021 Admit Card (coloured printout if possible otherwise black-and-white)
# Valid photo-ID i.e., Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License (Any 1 would suffice)
All candidates must carry these documents to the exam centre without fail. Otherwise they will not be granted entry to the exam centre. Moreover, they must carry a recently-made photo ID so that it matches with the candidate’s face. Authorities at the centre will be checking the candidate’s face with the images in Photo ID and admit card. They need to match so that there is no suspicion of illicit activities. Candidates must keep these points in mind and carry the original copy of an appropriate ID to the centre.
HP TET 2021 Exam-Day Guidelines
All candidates need to report to the HP TET 2021 exam centre at least 30 minutes prior to the exam. So, for shift 1, the reporting time is 9:30 am and the reporting time for shift 2 is 1:30 pm.
Apart from the items or documents mentioned, candidates are advised to not carry any barred items to the exam centre. These include study material, electronic devices, calculators, rulers, pieces of paper, etc.
Even though the country is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety and health of all those present for HP TET 2021 exam is important. Hence, candidates must adhere to all COVID-19 protocols prescribed by the government. Thee include constant sanitization of hands and maintaining social-distancing at all times.
