Himachal Pradesh Forest Department has started the registration process for the HP Forest Guard Post 2021 recruitment process on the official website hpforest.nic.in. A total of 311 forest guard post vacancies shall be filled through the recruitment drive. Interested candidates who fulfil the recruitment eligibility criteria are expected to register for the selection process on or before August 19, 2021, up to 5:00 pm, on the official website. Subsequently, physical tests for the eligible candidates will take place from September 21 to October 20, 2021.
To apply for the recruitment drive, candidates must first ensure if they are eligible or not. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from any school or institute located in Himachal Pradesh will be deemed eligible. However, this pre-condition is not required in case of bonafide’ Himachalis. Eligible candidates are then, required to register on the FORP URL to complete the application process.
On the official website hpforest.nic.in, candidates must access the ‘Recruitment’ section followed by the “Click to Apply Online for HP Forest Guard Post”. By doing so, a new page will open. Candidates have to click on the “User Registration” and enter the required details to register. These details include application for post, circle location, Aadhar number, full name, gender, category, date of birth, etc. After submitting these details, students must login to the portal by entering their username and password.
In the next step, students must click on the “Click to Apply” link in the dashboard to access the application form. the online application form asks for basic information like name, Aadhar Number, gender, father’s name, mother’s name, email ID, contact number, category, sub-category, etc. All these details are mandatory and must be filled by all aspirants.
After filling all the required information, students must click on the “Save and Move to next tab” option to continue further. In the next step, candidates must enter all their education and qualification details. They are also required to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature in black ink. Each file size must not exceed 40 KB and must be uploaded in the JPG or JPEG format.
Once all the steps are completed, candidates must click on the “Final Submit” option to submit their application forms. These formalities are to be completed by August 19, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Thereafter, the state forest department will scrutinize all received application forms from August 20 to September 08, 2021. Only those students whose forms get accepted will be intimated for the physical exam. Intimations will be sent from September 09 to 20, 2021. In the meantime, all students are requested to keep a track of the official website to get their doubts resolved.
