With the UGC NET 2021 admit card now out for phase 2 exams, candidates are looking for ways to download their hall tickets using name and date of birth. While there is no direct way to do that, one can use the find application number option to first get their application number and then use the download admit card with application number and dob option, to get the admit card via name and date of birth. National Testing Agency (NTA) has today, December 21, 2021, released the UGC NET 2021 admit cards for phase 2.
The admit cards have been issued to all registered candidates of papers namely Bengali (subject code 19), Kannada (subject code 21), Hindi (subject code 20), Sanskrit (subject code 25), Home Science (subject code 12) through the online mode on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The exam dates are December 24, 26, and 27, 2021. With just three days left for the competitive exam, candidates are advised to download and print a copy of their hall tickets as soon as possible.
To download their UGC NET 2021 admit cards, candidates can do so using one of the two login credentials – 1. Application Number and Date of Birth; and 2. Application Number and Password.
Following are the steps are to download the UGC NET 2021 admit card using name and date of birth-
Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET 2021 i.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, select the tab – Download Admit Card using Application Number and Password.
Step 3: On the next page, click the link “Forgot Application No.”.
Step 4: Then, a form opens up. Here, fill Name, Father Name, Mother Name, Date of Birth, Security Pin (case sensitive). Then click “Get application number”.
Step 5: Now note down the application number.
Step 6: Now once again go to ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 7: Now click the link “Download Admit Card using Application Number and DOB”.
Step 8: A new page will open asking for the selected login credentials. Enter the Application Number and Date of Birth. Enter the security pin and click on the ‘Submit’ option.
Step 9: Admit card will open on the screen. Download or take a printout of the admit card as soon as possible, before the exam.
As per the official, NTA is going to conduct the UGC NET 2021 Bengali exam in two shifts on December 24, 2021, followed by Kannada and Hindi language exams on December 26, 2021. On the third day i.e., December 27, 2021, NTA is scheduled to conduct the Sanskrit and Home Science exams. For all these exams, the agency has released the admit cards on the official portal. For the remaining exam dates, admit cards will be released at a later stage. Those appearing for the fellowship exam at a later stage must keep an eye out for the admit card on the official portal.
