The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has released the admit cards for Plant Attendant and Junior Engineer examinations. Candidates who have registered for these posts will now be able to download the admit cards from the official website gsecl.in. The examination dates will be mentioned in the admit cards. A total of 119 vacancies is to be filled for the post of Plant Attendant while the same for Junior Engineer is 155.
To download the GSECL admit card 2021 for the two exams, take a look at the following steps.
Step 1- Visit the official GSECL website – gsecl.in
Step 2- Click on the ‘Career’ option beside ‘Tenders’
Step 3- Press the ‘Click Here’ button beside the link that reads ‘Link for filling online application for the post of C.S./V.S.(J.E.)/Jr.Prog./V.S.(PA-I)/I.M.’
Step 4- Now, click on ‘Registered Candidate’ under the ‘Applicant Login’ option
Step 5- Enter login credentials like user ID and password and press the ‘Login’ button
Step 6- Click on the ‘Dashboard’ button beside the ‘Home’ option
Step 7- On the top of the page, press the ‘Click here to download Admit Card’ link
Step 8- The GSECL admit card 2021 will be displayed. Download the same and take a printout for future reference.
For both the Plant Attendant and Junior Engineer exams, the general criteria is to have Gujarati knowledge. The tentative syllabus for the Plant Attendant exam covers five sections namely Gujarati Language & Grammar, General Knowledge, English Knowledge and Computer Knowledge. The remaining section will cover subjective topics from the Mechanical and Electrical streams. Details regarding these topics are available on the advertisement available on gsecl.in. There will be 100 questions covering 100 marks. For every incorrect answer, 1/4th mark from each question will be deducted.
Similarly, for the post of Junior Engineer, the tentative syllabus will cover five sections, out of which four sections are the same for all engineering disciplines. The four constant sections include General Knowledge, English Knowledge, Computer Knowledge and Gujarati Language & Grammar. The remaining discipline-wise topics are detailed in the advertisement. Question paper pattern and negative marking criteria for this exam will be similar to that of Plant Attendant.
The minimum eligibility cut-off marks required for selection is 50 and above for the unreserved and EWS categories. The same for reserved and PwD candidates is 45 and above. Selection will be carried out according to the order of merit as per the available vacancies and reservation rules. The published result will be valid for a duration of one year from the publication date.
