With every passing day, the demand for postponing NEET PG 2022 examination is only intensifying. Young doctors across the country are protesting against the clash of dates between two major events – 1. NEET PG 2021 Counselling and 2. NEET PG 2022 examination. The former is currently being conducted by the National Board of Examination for Medical Sciences (NBEMS). This process is scheduled to continue till February or March 2022. So, there is a high possibility of this process getting clashed with the NEET PG 2022 exam date.
Demand for Postponing NEET PG 2022
As of now, the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2022 is scheduled to be conducted through the computer-based test on March 12, 2022. A significant chunk of students appearing for this exam had also appeared for the previous session. So, they are preoccupied with the counselling process. Invariably, juggling between two major events may hamper a candidate’s performance in the upcoming exam.
With this mindset in mind, candidates are demanding the postponement of NEET PG 2022. Another reason can be that when the previous session is still underway, how can NBEMS begin a new session? This sequence of events is likely to create chaos in the system. So, to avoid this chaos, doctors are pressing on postponing the session.
