The admit card for Common Entrance Test (CET) for classes 6 and 9 will be released by Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) on the official website rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in soon. The exam was supposed to be conducted in the month of December. But it was postponed due to a massive surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, following which it is expected to be conducted in the last week of January. Candidates will be able to find the exam date, time and test center address on the admit card itself
How to download the admit card for RMS CET 2022?
Candidates can go through the following steps to download the admit cards once the link is activated:
Step 1: Visit the official website rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in.
Step 2: Under the “CET Corner”, candidates can find the link to download the admit card.
Step 3: Click on the link and it will take the candidates to a new page.
Step 4: Now, enter the Roll No., Class and Date of Birth to login in.
Step 5: Candidates can now download the admit card.
The RMS CET is conducted every year to induct students into Classes 6 and 9. The CET is an automated test and the candidates have to mark their answers in the OMR sheet provided to them. Candidates who qualify this admission test, will be shortlisted for the interview at one of the Rashtriya Military Schools. Based on the admission test and interview, the final merit list is prepared. Selected candidates have to undergo a Medical Fitness test prior to admission in one of the 5 Rashtriya Military Schools among RMS Ajmer, RMS Bangalore, RMS Belgaum, RMS Chail, and RMS Dholpur, based on the vacancies.
Boys of the age group 10-12 can apply for admission to Class 6. The syllabus for Class 6 exams covers English, Intelligence Test, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs at Class 5 level. The maximum mark is 200. Maximum marks for the Interview is 20.
Boys belonging to the age group 13-15 can apply for admission to Class 9. Class 9 admission test is conducted in 2 papers, each carrying 100 marks. Paper 1 consists of questions from English, Hindi and Social Science. Paper 2 covers questions from Mathematics and Science. Candidates have to score atleast 50% in each of these papers to qualify. Maximum marks in the case of interview is 50. The exam can be taken either in Hindi or English.
