Gujarat High Court is inviting online applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up 19 latest job openings. The openings are for the post of Computer Operator. The High Court has issued an official recruitment notification in this regard at the official website gujarathighcourt.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates can check the notification and apply online from January 25 to February 15, 2021, as per schedule. The High Court is going to conduct elimination test on April 11, 2021, Computer-Aided Test on May 02, 2021, and Viva-Voce test in the month of June 2021 (all dates tentative) for selection and appointment of the eligible applicants.
The High Court of Gujarat has indicated the complete vacancy bifurcation details in the latest recruitment notification. The 19 vacancies are distributed across General, SC, ST, SEBC and EWS categories. Reservations also exist for ESM and PWD candidates. All of the vacancies are available under the Information Technology Cell of the High Court. Selected candidates are to be appointed to the designated posts in the pay scale of Rs 19900-63200 (and other admissible allowances).
Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2021 For 19 Computer Operators Detailed Notification
Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in any of the fields among Computer Application, Information Technology or Computer Science are eligible to apply for the recruitment. Those who have completed a 03 years Diploma course in Computer Science or Information Technology from recognized Polytechnic Institutes are also eligible for this recruitment. In addition, candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with a 1-year Diploma in Data Entry Operation/Computer Application/Programming or “O” Level qualification from DOEACC can also apply.
The aforementioned qualifications are to be determined on the last date of submission of online applications. Applicants must be at least 18 years old in order to apply. In addition, one must not be more than 35 years old. Relaxations are however available on the upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories including employees working in subordinate courts, ST, SEBC, EWS, Female candidates, PWD and ESM. However, the maximum age of the applicants after relaxations cannot be more than 45 years in any case.
The elimination test to be conducted for initial shortlisting consist of an all objective type question paper of 100 marks. Negative marking of 0.33 marks will be applicable in the elimination test. Candidates will be allowed 02 hours to take the test. Those who qualify in the test by securing at least 50 marks are to be called for the Computer Aided Test.
The Computer-Aided Test consists of 80 marks question paper and conducted for a duration of 02 hours. Candidates are to be evaluated on the basis of syllabus indicated in the notification. One must secure at least 40% marks in the CAT and only those who qualify are to be called for the Viva-Voce Test.
The Viva-Voce test carries only 20 marks and the minimum qualifying marks is 40%. Candidates are to be evaluated on the basis of subjects such as GK, Personality Test, Communication Skills, Computer Application etc. Final selection list and waitlist are to be compiled on the basis of merit. It may be noted that the marks of the elimination test are not considered for preparation of the final merit lists.
