Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, began inviting applications for one important post of Director General & Chief Corporate Officer (DO & CEO). The registration process was previously, scheduled to end on August 20, 2021. However, as per the revised schedule, today, August 31, 2021, up to 5:30 pm is the last date to apply for these two key positions at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).
This recruitment drive is dedicated specifically to Indian nationals and interested candidates have merely half an hour’s time to complete the online application formalities. They can do so on either of the two websites, mca.gov.in and iica.in. For candidates who have already applied for the position, here are all the important details –
According to the official notice published by the IICA, the post of DO & CEO will be provided with a pay scale of Rs.80,000 per month or Rs.2.25 lakh as per the revised 7th Code of Civil Procedure (CPC). This pay package will be provided along with permissible allowances.
The official notice also states that the specified post shall be applicable for a duration of 5 years or till the person achieve the age of 65 years, whichever comes first. Moreover, the applicant must have an age between 45 years and 65 years, as of August 31, 2021. The person is also required to fulfil the values of integrity, ability and standing, having relevant knowledge and at least 15 years of rich experience in their field. Of course, this field must pertain to the IICA organisation.
Apart from the experience and knowledge requirements, an ideal aspirant must be eminent and respectable in his/her field. Additionally, candidates must also possess a Master’s degree and have a minimum of 15 years of experience in both managerial and administrative domains. These domains can either belong to the public or private sector. To the candidate’s fortune, such work restrictions are not applicable for this recruitment drive.
A candidate who has functioned as a Group ‘A’ officer along with a minimum of 2 years of service in the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) is also qualified to apply for the recruitment drive. Here, HAG refers to a pay scale of Rs.67,000 to 79,000.
IICA authorities provided an additional timeline of 11 days, up to August 31, 2021, at 5:30 pm to apply for the recruitment drive. Applications must reach Shri Rakesh Kumar, Under Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs at his designated address in the national capital. The remaining steps of the recruitment drive will be notified in due course of time.
