Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the official notification for SSO Recruitment 2022. This notification has been published in PDF format, on the official website esic.nic.in. The online application process has already begun for the recruitment of Social Security Officer/ Manager Gr-II/Superintendent through direct recruitment. A total of 93 vacancies are aimed to be filled by the end of this recruitment drive.
Interested candidates can begin applying for the ESIC SSO 2022 written exam by filling up the online form. They will need to submit the form along with the application fee and key documents, on or before April 12, 2022. However, candidates will need to ascertain their eligibility before applying.
ESIC SSO 2022 Pay Scale
As per the official ESIC SSO 2022 notification, a pay-scale of the 7th level will be applicable, in accordance with the 7th Central Pay Commission. This pay-scale will range from Rs.44,900 to Rs.1,42,400. Additionally, shortlisted candidates shall also receive DA, HRA, transport allowance, and other compensatory aspects, according to rules drafted by ESIC.
ESIC SSO 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The ESIC SSO 2022 eligibility criteria have been broadly divided into three aspects – 1. Educational qualifications, 2. Nationality requirements and 3. Age-limit.
Educational Qualifications –
#1 Degree from a recognised university with preference given to graduate in Commerce, Management, and Law
#2 Working knowledge of computer along with the use of office suites and database
#3 A desirable experience would be of 3 years in a government organization, corporate, local body, scheduled bank, etc
Nationality Requirements
Applicant must be a citizen of India or belonging to Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan Refugee who migrated to India before January 01, 1962. Those of Indian origin having migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and certain East African countries are also eligible for the ESIC SSO 2022 recruitment. Certain certificates and official documents will be required to prove the nationality and eligibility certificate issued by the competent authority.
Age-Limitations
A candidate who is between the age of 21 and 27 years on or before April 12, 2022, will be deemed eligible for the ESIC SSO 2022 recruitment. However, certain relaxations in the upper age limit have been provided to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PH, etc.
ESIC SSO 2022 Cut Off
As per the official ESIC SSO 2022 notification, the corporation will be announcing two types of cut-offs – 1. Those applicable on scores in individual tests and 2. Those are applicable to the total score. Both will be announced around the same time as the result declaration. They will either be notified in the mark sheet or in a PDF document uploaded on esic.nic.in.
