Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) recently released the advertisement for the recruitment of a total of 7236 vacancies. These vacancies are for a variety of teaching and non-teaching posts including Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Assistant Teacher, Head Clerk, Councillor, Patwari, etc. The online application process for the DSSSB 2021 recruitment subsequently, began yesterday, May 25, 2021. Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply for the respective posts on the official website dsssbonline.nic.in. They are instructed to complete all the registration formalities on or before June 24, 2021.
The official DSSSB 2021 recruitment advertisement contains the number of vacancies, educational qualifications required, necessary experience, etc for each post. To apply for the recruitment process, candidates must visit the official website dsssbonline.nic.in. They may also choose to visit the website dsssb.delhi.gov.in. However, before starting the online application process, they are advised to read the instructions regarding the recruitment process carefully.

After reading all the instructions, candidates must click on the link of the Online Application Registration System (OARS) on the homepage of the website. Thereafter, aspirants must register themselves by filling in the required details. By doing so, candidates shall receive system-generated login credentials on their registered email ID.
Using these login credentials, candidates have to log in to the official portal and proceed to complete the remaining application formalities. After completing the application form, aspirants are required to pay Rs.100 as an application fee. However, women candidates, as well as those belonging to SC, ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen categories, are exempted from paying the application fee. Once the registration formalities are completed, candidates are advised to take a printout of their application form for future use.
DSSSB 2021 selection process shall be based on the One Tier or Two Tier examination as well as skill assessment/test wherever needed. During the exam, questions shall be displayed in two languages – Hindi and English. However, language papers shall be displayed only in the concerned language. Furthermore, any rechecking or revaluation of answer sheets shall not be conducted by DSSSB for any candidate.
The One-tier examination shall comprise of two sections – Section A and Section B. Section A shall cover topics from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension. Section B shall contain objective type questions covering topics from the post specific subject as per the qualification of the candidate.
The Two-tier examination shall be divided into two parts. Part I will cover subjects like General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Abilities, General Awareness with special emphasis on the History, Culture, Demography, Geography & Economy of Delhi, Administrative set up and Governance in NCT of Delhi, English Language & Comprehension and Computer Proficiency. The second part shall be based descriptive and candidates have to attempt Essay writing, letter writing or expansion of ideas (in English).
