Today, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) released the admit card for DASS Grade 4 post code 02/17. However it must be noted that right now the call letter is available for two exam dates only, that are September 20, 2019, and September 24, 2019. The admit cards for DASS Grade 4 exam to be held on September 30, 2019, October 1, 2019, October 3, 2019, October 4, 2019 are yet to be available.
To download the DSSSB DASS Grade 4 Admit Card 2019, candidates who applied for the posts need to visit dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The third message under the welcome notice is “Download admit cards for the online CBT exam for post code 1/17, 5/18, 48/13 and 02/17 (20 and 24/09/19)”. This link leads to the candidate login page, where candidate needs to enter application number and date of birth, in DD/MM/YYYY format in order to login and get their admit cards.
The admit card issued by DSSSB contains post name, post code, exam date and time, roll number, candidate name, category, father’s or husband’s name, reporting time, photograph, signature. The examination center, instructions for exam are given.
Entry to the examination hall will be closed at the reporting time. Books, notes, calculators, mobile phones, electronic watches with calculators, or any other such devices or items are not allowed in the exam hall.
On Friday, the board had issued admit cards for another important exam – LDC post code /17. Exams for this post commenced yesterday, and will go on until September 19, 2019. Link to download admit card for LDC 1/17 is the same as that for DASS grade 4 post code 2/17.
DSSSB DASS Grade 4 recruitment was published in advt no. 01/2017, for 480 vacancies. Its exam date was announced in August this year. There are 262 vacancies for unreserved candidates, 135 for OBC, 63 for SC, and 20 for ST. Class 12th pass candidates with a typing speed of 35 words per minute in Enlgish, or 30 words per minute in Hindi, and age between 18 to 27 years were invited to apply. The post is eligible for pay scale Rs 5,200 – Rs 20,200 plus grade pay of Rs 1,900. It is in level 2 of pay matrix that is Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200, group C.
Syllabus for DSSSB DASS Grade 4 comprises of six topics. They are general awareness, mental ability and reasoning, numerical ability and data interpretation, test of hindi language, test of english language, and the sixth topic is basic familiarity with computers, internet, social media and office automation. The exam will have questions worth 35 marks each from the first five topics, and of 25 marks in the last one. Thus there will be 200 multiple choice questions, of 200 marks in the exam.
Selection to DASS grade 4 posts is through a one-tier exam process; there is no tier-2 objective or subjective exam after this.
DSSSB was established in the fiftieth anniversary year of Indian independence. The board is responsible for recruitment in the national capital territory of Delhi. Recently the board released advt 3/2019 for recruitment of 982; primary assistant teacher post code 15/19 has 637 vacancies, then Nursery assistant teacher post code 16/19 has 141 vacancies, and finally JE Civil post code 17/19 has 204 vacancies.
