DSSSB Admit Card for LDC Post Code 1/17 released at dsssb.delhi.gov.in

Candidates can download the admit card and attend the computer based test.

DSSSB Admit Card for LDC Post Code 1/17

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the admit card for lower division clerk (LDC) that is for post code 1/17 that was advertised in advt no 01/2017. Computer based test for LDC post is scheduled to be held from September 16, 2019 to September 19, 2019. 

To download the admit card, candidates who had applied for the post need to visit dsssb.delhi.gov.in. Then click “download admit cards for the online cbt exam for post code 1/17 (ldc)” link. This opens up the admit card download login window, where, one has to enter application number and date of birth in order to login and download the DSSSB admit card. 

DSSSB admit card contains post name, post code, exam date and time, roll number, name of candidate, category, reporting time, exam center. It also has a photograph, signature, and exam day instructions. 

The board notifies that entry to exam hall will close at the end of the reporting time mentioned in the admit card. Also, no candidate can leave the exam hall before the end of the exam. Items such as books, notes, calculators, mobile phones, electronic watches with calculators, computing facility, electronic devices, bugs, briefcases or such articles are not allowed inside the exam centre. 

Syllabus of the exam that is now going to be held was published in the DSSSB advertisement no 01/2017. As per it, for LDC post, there will be an exam with six sections. The first five sections – general awareness, mental ability and reasoning, numerical ability and data interpretation, test of hindi language, test of english language – will be of 35 marks each. The sixth section – basic familiarity with computers, internet, social media, office automation will be of 25 marks. The exam will thus have 200 questions of 200 marks. 

There will be negative marking to the tune of 0.25 marks per incorrect answer in the paper. 

LDC post code 1/17 was opened for class 12th pass candidates. There are a total of 34 vacancies in this post, divided into 22 for UR, 4 for OBC, 8 for SC. Candidates must have a typing speed of 35 wpm in English typing, or 30 wpm in Hindi typing on computer. Pay scale for this post is Rs 5,200- Rs 20,200 plus grade pay 1900, group C. candidates are supposed to be between 18 to 27 years of age. 

On the dates that the LDC exam is scheduled, there are tests for other post codes also. For example, DSSSB will also conduct computer based test for technical assistant ophthalmology post code 5/18 on September 18, 2019. Test for assistant director in community service post code 48/13 is on September 19, 2019. On a separate date, CBT for assistant director press and information post code on September 24, 2019 is scheduled. 

Another popular post for which DSSSB will conduct exam this month is the DASS grade 4. DSSSB DASS grade 4 post code 2/17 exam dates are September 20, 2019, September 24, 2019, September 30, 2019, October 1, 2019, October 3, 2019, and October 4, 2019.
