Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has just released the PG Assistants hall ticket 2019 and published its revised timetable. It has been decided that the exam for recruitment to the post of post graduate assistants / physical education directors will be held on September 27, 2019 to September 29, 2019. The test will be held in the forenoon and afternoon sessions on each day.
To download the TN TRB PG Assistant hall ticket 2019, candidates need to visit trb.tn.nic.in. The latest message on the official website reads, “Direct Recruitment for the post of Post Graduate Assistants / Physical Education Directors Grade-I – 2018-2019 – Admit Card”. Click this link.
Then scroll down where three links are provided one after the other – admit card, press news, revised time table. On clicking the admit card link, you are directed to a login page. The press news opens the press release, which is in Tamil language. Revised timetable shows the subject wise date and session of exams.
The admit card login page has the heading “Post Graduate Assistants / Physical Education Director Grade – 1 – 2019 Online Application Registration”. In this form, candidates need to enter their user ID and password in order to login. Forgot user ID and forgot password links are present in this page, so that if anyone has forgotten these details then they can get them from here.
Candidates who have forgotten their user ID for TN TRB PG Assistant recruitment 2019 can get it using email ID, and post applied for. For password, one has to enter their user ID and email ID.
As per the revised timetable, recruitment exams for physics and history subjects will be held on the first day, that is September 27, 2019, in the forenoon session. Then on the same day in the afternoon session, tests for zoology, economics, botany, physical education, geography, home science, political science, indian culture shall be conducted.
The test for english subject PG assistant posts will be on September 28, 2019, in the forenoon session. Whereas that for microbiology, biochemistry, commerce, chemistry will be in the afternoon session.
There will be one test each in the forenoon and afternoon sessions of September 29, 2019. Tamil will be in the forenoon session, and mathematics in afternoon.
Microbiology and biochemistry dates and sessions are hereby revised.
The TN TRB PG Assistant recruitment is for 2,144 vacancies of Post Graduate Assistants / Physical Education Directors Grade – I (Rs 36,900 – 1,16,600) (Level – 18) in the minimum pay of Rs 36,900. Notification for the posts was published in June, and applications were accepted until July.
Computer based exam will be a single paper of three hours duration. It will have 150 multiple choice questions of one mark each. 110 questions will be from the main subject, 30 on educational methodology, and 10 on general knowledge. TN TRB PG Assistant recruitment 2019 notification states, “candidates have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the Examination. For SC/SCA candidates, the minimum is 45% marks and for ST candidates, it is 40% marks.”
