The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will soon be announcing the Tier 1 examination dates for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). As per reports, the examination is likely to be held this month itself. A total of 1817 vacancies are set to be filled through this recruitment drive. The Tier 1 examination could not be held as planned because of the COVID-19 pandemic. An official notification on the website drdo.gov.in reads that the planned and tentative dates will be announced in due course of time.
Furthermore, reports state that the official announcement will be available 20 days prior to the exam date. Now, this makes it very unlikely that the exam will be held in November, 2021. As and when DRDO announces the exam dates, the admit cards for the same will be available soon. They have to be downloaded online and will not be sent via post. Candidates, after appearing for Tier 1 will be eligible to take the Tier 2 test. Candidates who will be recruited after qualifying all stages of the examination will receive a Level-1 pay of Rs 18000 to Rs 56900. They will be posted as per the preferences filled by them.
