District Commissioner, Jorhat is looking for 08 eligible candidates to fill the vacant posts of Junior Assistant. An official advertisement in this regard has also been published online at niyukti.assam.gov.in. The online registrations for the Junior Assistant recruitment start today that is December 07, 2020. Eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment before the last date, December 23, 2020.
The vacancies of Junior Assistant is available in Amalgamated Establishment of Deputy Commissioner Jorhat. Out of the total vacancies, 02 vacancies are announced for OBC/ MOBC, 03 for SC, 01 for ST (H), 01 for EWS and 01 for Unreserved category. Those who are recruited for these vacancies get monthly salary in the pay scale of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60500/- plus grade pay.

To apply for the Junior Assistant post, candidates must have graduation in Arts, Science or Commerce from a University. They should possess minimum 06 months Diploma in Computer Applications from the recognized institute. Computer Proficiency in basic computer Application like Linux, MS Window, Powerpoint, Mac Excel, DTP (English/ Assamese) and internet processing etc is mandatory. While applying, applicant’s age should not be less than that of 18 years and more than 40 years as on January 01, 2020.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online through niyukti.assam.gov.in. On the homepage, they will find “view details” link that will lead them to submit online applications. While applying, it is mandatory to mention the mobile number and email address in the form. After the final submission, aspirants are suggested to take a clear print out of the application form for future reference.
While applying online, candidates also have to submit certain documents in jpg or jpeg or png or pdf. These include scanned copy of age proof, mark sheet of qualifying exam, computer proficiency, caste certificate, employment exchange registration certificate Government employee and NOC certification from the respective employer. They also have to upload scanned passport size photograph and signature.
Those who successfully submit the online application form have to appear for the written examination. Admit card for the written and Computer Proficiency test will be sent to them through email/ SMS and website. On qualifying the written exam, the aspirant has to appear for the Computer Proficiency Test. After this, they have to appear for document verification round as well. In this round, candidates have to carry original testimonials of age proof, caste certificate, educational qualification certificate and computer proficiency certificates. The final selection of the candidates is based on the aggregate marks obtained in Written Test and Computer Proficiency Test.
