District Health Society (DHS), Assam has released an official notification for the recruitment of Driver and grade-IV posts. Aspirants can download the notification advertising 50 vacancies from the official website, dhs.assam.gov.in. The online registrations for DHS Assam Recruitment have already started from December 07, 2020, onward. Candidates can submit their online applications before December 16, 2020 till midnight.
Out of the total 50 vacancies, 20 are advertised for Driver post and 30 for Grade-IV posts. Aspirants who clear the selection process are recruited for the district wise vacancies available at South Salmara Mankachar, Majuli, Charaideo, Hojai and Biswanath. The newly appointed Driver and Grade-IV get the monthly salary of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/-.
Applicants interested in the DHS Assam recruitment should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. Those who are applying for Driver post must have passed 10th class. They should also have a valid four-wheeler driving license (LMV) issued by the District Transport Authority. To apply for Grade-IV post, candidates should have passed class 8th.

Moreover, applicants should not exceed the upper age limit of 40 years as on January 01, 2020. The minimum age limit for the DHS Assam recruitment is 18 years. However, DHS Assam exercises the reservation policy for recruitment. The upper age limit is relaxable for 03 years for OBC category and 05 years for SC/ ST (P)/ ST (H).
Eligible candidates can submit their applications by visiting dhs.assam.gov.in. They first have to register themselves by providing the basic details such as the name of the candidate, age, category and others. Thereafter, applicants can proceed to submit the DHS Assam Application form. Also, keep scanned copies of the photograph, 08th/ 10th class certificate, caste certificate and others as asked. Furthermore, applicants are not required to pay the application fee. Once aspirants have submitted the online DHS Assam application form, they should take a print out of the same for future reference.
The selection of the candidates is conducted through the interview/ document verification round. They have to carry original and copies of the documents for the verification purpose. The documents that are required are as follows – 02 copies of photograph, birth certificate, class 8th pass certificate, caste certificate, a person with disability certificate, permanent residentship/ domicile certificate and EWS category certificate. Candidates also have to carry an employment exchange registration certificate and a valid driving license certificate (if applicable).
