Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CTET Result 2022 soon, on the official website ctet.nic.in. As per the information brochure, the result date has been cited as February 15, 2022. However, this is still a tentative date and so, there is no certainty that this exact date would be the result date. Under such uncertainty, it is best to look at the events transpiring in the past. the difference between exam date, answer key date, and result date in past years can help candidates determine an accurate date for CTET 2022 result.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 examination was successfully conducted from December 16, to January 21. The test was held through the computer-based format at selected centers across the country. Almost two weeks have passed since the last CTET 2022 session and candidates are ardently waiting for results to be announced.
Can February 15, 2022, be the actual result date?
Looking at the past-year records, it is evident that CBSE takes around 23-27 days for announcing the CTET results. Going by this logic, results are likely to be announced between February 13-17, 2022. So, by calculating the average of dates, February 15, 2022, is the most likely date for CTET 2022 result announcement.
However, if we check how many days after the answer key issuance are the CTET results announced, then we can make another inference – there is a difference of 4-7 days between answer key release and announcement of results. The CTET 2022 answer key was released on February 01. So, results are likely to be announced between February 05-08, 2022. However note that the last date to submit challenges on CTET answer key is February 4, hence it will take at least 1-2 days for CBSE to compile results after that. Thus it is most likely that result would be announced between February 6 to 8.
What do past-year records suggest?
In 2021, the CTET session was conducted on a nationwide level on January 31. Results were announced around 16 days later, on February 26, 2021. The year before, CBSE had conducted the eligibility test on July 07, 2019, following which, results were announced on July 30, 2019, i.e., around 23 days later. In 2018, the eligibility test was held on December 09, 2018. Almost 27 days later, results were announced on January 04, 2019. In this session, candidates can observe a 27-day gap between the two subsequent events.

The central education board will be announcing the CTET 2022 results on the official portal ctet.nic.in. No candidate will receive the results via offline or in-person mode. Furthermore, candidates are also advised to not rely on third-party websites for their scorecards.
